🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

This weekend, I want to take a moment to honor the hard-working men and women who keep this country moving, growing, building, and running every single day.

To the farmers, ranchers, construction crews, tradesmen and women, truck drivers, small business owners, linemen, mechanics, healthcare workers, and all the blue-collar folks who roll up their sleeves and get the job done — thank you. 👏🏼

And to our first responders — law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and all those who run toward the things the rest of us hope never happen — thank you for protecting our communities and answering the call. 💙🚔🚒🇺🇸

So many of you will spend this holiday weekend working while others are enjoying time off. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.

From my ranch to yours, I hope you get a little time to slow down, enjoy the people you love, breathe some fresh air, and appreciate the blessings that hard work provides.

🐾 HELP SUPPORT EL DORADO COUNTY SHERIFF K-9s! 🐾

The El Dorado County Canine Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is raising funds to help offset the purchase of three new EDSO K-9s at $18,500 each — $55,500 total. Unlike many agencies, these K-9s are purchased by their handlers — not the agency. The Canine Association works to help offset these significant costs through donations and community support. The Association also covers routine veterinary care and medical expenses related to off-duty injuries for our K-9s, both active and retired.

Please consider donating and sharing to help support the K-9s and handlers serving El Dorado County. Any amount is welcome and appreciated. Thank you for your support 🇺🇸🐾

🌄☕️ Start your day with gratitude, friends.

There’s just something about a crisp morning out here in the country… cool air, quiet pastures, horses moving around, and that first cup of coffee that makes you slow down for a minute and count your blessings. ❤️

Thank God for the mountains He’s already helped you climb. Some were steep, some took longer than we expected, and some left a few scars along the way. But look at you… you made it through. 🙏

And , remember this: the same God who carried you over the last one has got you again today. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just put one boot in front of the other and trust Him with the rest.

So take a deep breath, enjoy this beautiful crisp morning, hug your people, love on your animals, and be thankful for the life you’ve been given.

God is good. Life is short. And there’s a whole lot to be grateful for. 🤎🐴🌾

It’s back!!! The Deputy Ishmael Memorial Golf Tournament returns this year October 5th at the Cold Springs Golf Course and Country Club! The El Dorado County Cover 6 Foundation, DSA, and local sponsors have been working hard to make sure this is an incredible event! Get your foursome registered before it’s sold out!

My sweet new clients gave me the best tour of their home and land in south county and then sent me home with a care package. Homegrown chamomile with spearmint tea, peaches and the best raisins I’ve ever had. Sent me on my way with hugs and smiles full of gratitude for giving them my time to help them plan for their next steps. I am the lucky one to be blessed with such kind people to work with 🙏🏼

August… whew. 😮‍💨

It was a FULL month of trying to keep up with Buckles & Badges, real estate clients, family obligations, and all the other moving pieces life decided to throw at me.

Somewhere in the middle of all of that, my horses got pushed way too far down the list. And honestly… I’ve missed them. A LOT. 🐴❤️

I finally got some much-needed quality time with my sexy grey beast and Princess Rhea, and I didn’t realize just how much I needed it until I was back in the saddle and spending time with them.

I’m completely burnt out. The kind of tired that a good night’s sleep doesn’t fix. And I know that part of my reset has to be getting back to the things that fill my cup — and these two are a HUGE part of that. ❤️

When I’m not getting my horse time, I feel it. My mood, my energy, my perspective… everything just feels a little off.

So September is about getting back to our routines, slowing down a little, and making time for the things that keep me grounded.

Back to the barn. Back to the horses. Back to me. 🐴❤️

Sometimes the best reset isn’t doing MORE… it’s getting back to what makes you feel like yourself again.

🚨 SUNDAY FUNDAY: RANCH CRIME EDITION 🚨🐮😂

First up: Exhibit A & B.

Look at these faces. 😇
So sweet. So innocent. Just peacefully enjoying their Sunday.

LIARS. 😂

And there’s my husband, grinding and welding the fence they busted out of. 🤦🏻‍♀️🔥🔧

Apparently these two have graduated from cute cows to repeat offenders.

Their rap sheet includes:
🐮 Destruction of property
🐮 Fence jumping/breaking
🐮 Unauthorized roaming
🐮 Coordinated escape attempt
🐮 Showing absolutely ZERO remorse

And somehow, when questioned, they both maintained their right to remain silent. 😂

Suspects: 2-6
Evidence: Destroyed fence
Confession: None
Regret: Absolutely none
Dad’s patience: Under investigation
Sheriffs have been called 🤣

Meanwhile, they’re standing there watching him fix their crime scene like…
“We’d do it again.” 🤣🤣

Just another peaceful Sunday on the ranch. ❤️🐮
