New Pulte community going in on the Avon side of Hendricks County — took a full tour so you don't have to 🌲
If you've been waiting on a new construction neighborhood in Avon with bigger homes, basements, side-load garages, and mature trees instead of a wide-open farm field, this one's worth knowing about.
I just walked through Whispering Pines by Pulte and filmed the two model homes (the Waverly and the Ivy). A few things that stood out:
It's a smaller community — just 64 homes — and it's the final section of previously developed land, so it's tucked into mature trees for a more private feel.
Full 9-foot basements are included (rare at this price point), with the option to finish it and add a bedroom + bath.
Larger move-up floor plans, around 3,000 sq ft, and every plan has a main-level bedroom option — great for guests, in-laws, or an office.
Lot options along the tree line and pond, side-load garages, and it's about 5 minutes from Avon schools and close to Avon Commons and Perry Crossing.
Base pricing starts around $479,900, but I'll be straight with you — the models are dressed to impress and price out in the high $500s to low $700s once you add the basement finish and upgrades. That's exactly the kind of thing I help buyers sort out before they fall in love with the model.
One honest tip: if you're even thinking about building here, talk to your own agent (👋 that's me) before you visit and sign in at the model. Most builders have registration rules, and going in solo can cost you your representation.
