I don't think our lives are shaped by the big decisions. I've realized they're shaped by the tiny ones.
The Yes you wanted to say No to.
The opinion you kept to yourself.
The extra thing you agreed to because "it's just easier."
The Saturday afternoon you spent doing what everyone else wanted while quietly wishing you were home in the sunshine with your dog.
None of those moments seem important.
Until one day you look around and wonder "How did I get here?"
I've been thinking a lot about this lately.... I don't think we wake up one day disconnected from ourselves.
I think we slowly stop listening.
One tiny choice at a time.
And maybe that's good news.
Because if small choices slowly pulled us away from ourselves, perhaps small choices can bring us back.
💜 What's one small choice you've made recently that was simply because you wanted to?
