Mayor Charles Starnes has issued an emergency declaration in preparation for the winter storm forecasted to impact the region from Friday, January 23, through Sunday, January 25. The declaration will remain in effect from Friday, January 23, through Friday, January 29, to cover both the storm event and any necessary cleanup efforts following the storm.
