# # Apartment Maintenance Technician - HVAC Focus
Seeking a reliable, skilled **Maintenance Technician** for multifamily properties. Candidate must have a minimum of **3 years apartment maintenance experience** and be comfortable repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, along with other general building repairs
**HVAC certification is recommended but not required**. Applicants with a strong background in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general building upkeep are encouraged to apply and send resume to [email protected]
Requirements
- At least **3 years of apartment maintenance experience** (hotels or private homes acceptable
- Familiarity with inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC systems
- Comfortable working with plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry tasks
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- HVAC certification **recommended** (EPA/NATE preferred), but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with residents/staff
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance on property HVAC units and related building systems
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues
- Complete work orders promptly and professionally
- Track and document preventive maintenance
Salary depends on experience.
