Prairie Heritage

Prairie Heritage Prairie Heritage Real Estate and Auction is a Plainville-based real estate and auction business. "Chick" Selbe as the supervising broker. Call 785-608-6683

Prairie Heritage Auction and Real Estate was started in 1976 with C.F. The reason the business's name was chosen was from a family history of both Chick and Margaret (Wise's) family settling in Rooks County at the turn of the century. Our mantra has always been "Plainville owned and Plainville proud." Susan Stahl joined the firm as a licensed real estate salesperson in 1978. Susan is an experienc

ed salesperson with 43 years of experience in the Plainville real estate market. Whether selling or buying, we can help make the process simpler with our honesty, integrity, local knowledge, expertise, and our commitment to you. In 2012, Emery Jennings became the supervising broker. Jennings passed in December of 2021 and Shawn Phelps took over the supervising brokerage. The location of the office has moved to 1001 South Washington which is also our auction facility. Auctions are held the first Sunday or each month. Auction crew members include Sheila Hachmeister, Lora Weigel, Paula Glick, Kelly Lowry, Tammy Werner, Gwen Hitchcock, and Stephanie Nuss.
