I’m excited to share that I’ve officially moved offices and am now based out of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices office in Plainwell! Same great company, just now based in the town I love the most.

📍 Plainwell Community Schools Market Update | April 2026

The spring market is staying active in the Plainwell area, with new listings continuing to rise and home values holding strong. Here’s a quick look at what’s happening locally:

🏡 New listings increased 35% compared to this time last year
📈 Average sales price rose 6.41% year-over-year
⏱️ Homes sold slightly faster, with average days on market down 8.33%
📊 Median sales price remained relatively stable, showing continued buyer demand

While the number of closed sales was a bit lower than last April, inventory is improving and giving buyers more options heading into the busy spring and summer season.

For sellers, properly priced homes are still attracting strong interest. For buyers, increased inventory may create more opportunities and negotiating room than we saw earlier this year.

Closing day? Yes, that's fun.

But the day you get to hand these to the homeowner? That's the day the new chapter begins.

Possession day isn't always on closing day, for zillions of different reasons, all unique to the sellers and buyers and each situation.

I'll never tire of seeing the smile on a homeowner's face when they get their keys to their home ❤️

Some transactions just feel right! From the showing until closing day, I loved being part of this process. Working with@ethelwilkeyrealtor was smooth sailing, partnering with @mortgage_sergio_ccm was easy and simple, and then closing with @e_l_thompson?!?!? - Talk about a dream team!

That time when your daily texting buddies close on their dream home and you don't need to text each other daily anymore 😭😭😭

I'm not crying; you're crying!

I couldn't make the closing appointment, but I'm so glad was there with them!

This couple, y'all. Such a deserving, kind, patient, determined, loving duo. I wish all the wonderful goodness upon them, and I am so honored to have walked with them on their journey towards homeownership.

I can see your future in this home, and I am so excited to watch it come to life! Barbecues, family gatherings, Christmas mornings - it's there, and it'll be perfect! You had such a vision of what you wanted for your first home - and you found it!

Progress Pic: Our Chicks are Outside!

We still have no idea how many hens vs. roosters we have.

We are still baby chick parents and pretty much guessing at what we're doing here.

Here we have Steve, Max, Penelope, Tangerine, Henrietta, and Sheila.
Not Pictured: Chick Fil A, Billy-Bob, and Fridge.

Male and Female names are completely random and not based on expected gender. The boys refused to pick girl names because they're "lame."

It is the honor of my life witnessing my little boys do life. From soccer games to pancakes to reading stories in bed and riding bikes in the driveway. Every scraped knee, every sports practice, every broken piece of furniture, every visit to the ER, every “oops” and “sorry Mom” is not only worth it, it’s part of what makes our chaos so beautiful. I’m not perfect, I’d never expect them to be. I’ve learned more about my strengths (and weaknesses) by watching them learn and relearn about life and about themselves.

I’m happy everyday that God entrusted me with these young humans.
