If you see this post and want to know what makes me different from most agents, I hope you remember this. This is just one example of why I feel so blessed when my clients say, “She’s an honest realtor” about me ❤️🙏🏻

The first photo is a snapshot of my conversation with the listing agent. Like almost every buyer and their realtor, we initially trusted that the Seller’s Disclosure was accurate. But after digging deeper, I learned that the sellers had not actually installed a new roof. They had only had it inspected.

That was a big enough red flag for me to tell my buyers that I would not feel comfortable moving forward if I were in their shoes. They decided to terminate the contract.

No matter how much commission I stand to earn, my priority will always be making sure my buyers have complete peace of mind when purchasing a home.

I met these lovely buyers three years ago. They weren’t ready to buy at that time, but we stayed in touch. I sent them Christmas/holiday cards🥹.

When they called to tell me they were ready to buy now, I was so excited and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve them.

Not only did we get the house at a great price, but we also negotiated for the sellers to replace the roof at their expense before closing and pay for the title policy in full.

I couldn’t be happier for my buyers, and I’m forever grateful for the trust they placed in me.

And if you check the location, you’ll see that Bowie is about a two-hour drive from downtown Dallas. But for my clients? I’d gladly go anywhere. 🙏🏻❤️

Before ➡️ After

Same room. Same house. Same lighting (I also noticed that the floor looks darker in the first photo, which was taken just an hour before the second one!).

The only difference? I staged it using my own furniture.

One of the biggest mistakes sellers make is assuming buyers will automatically know how to use a space. In reality, empty rooms often feel smaller and less inviting because they lack context.

By simply defining the room as a dining area, it becomes easier for buyers to imagine gathering with family, hosting friends, and making memories there.

Professional staging isn’t always necessary. Sometimes, thoughtful furniture placement and a few simple touches are enough to help buyers see a house as their future home.

It’s all about helping buyers visualize the lifestyle, not just the square footage.

I thank God every time I remember how blessed I am 🙏🏻 Today, one of my mentees had his very first closing 🥹🎉

Moments like these make me reflect on my own journey. When I started in real estate, I had ZERO sphere of influence and very little technical knowledge. Fast forward just three years, I’ve been blessed with enough production, growth and success to step into a mentor role, for which I’m eternally grateful to my broker Brenda Thompson and the mentorship program members Lori L. Miles and Mary Jane Smith. They always believe in me and support me along the way.

Before I turn this post into an essay, 🤣, congratulations Bhushan on your first closing! This is just the beginning, and I’m so proud of you.

Realtor Tip of the Day 🏡

Always verify the work being done on your home. This shower floor tile was supposed to be redone, but instead the contractor tried to lay new tile right over the old one. Cutting corners like this can lead to major issues down the line and cost you even more money.

This is exactly why having the right realtor matters. I don’t just help you buy or sell. I keep an eye on contractors, ask the right questions, and make sure the job is done the right way from start to finish.

If you want someone who protects your investment at every step, I’m your girl.

Come see me at my open house this Saturday, 4/11, from 1–3 PM!
I get a little attached to certain listings of mine, and this is definitely one of them. It’s absolutely STUNNING with a GORGEOUS POOL and way too many updates to list here 😍
And the market is already speaking. We’ve been live for less than 20 minutes and already have showings scheduled for today 😊 So excited for my sellers, who are very close friends of mine, and feeling all the emotions on this one. Can’t wait to see who gets to call it home 😍
