$42,000!!!! THIS is what I do for ALL of my clients. I save them money⦠every single year.
Iām not the Realtor who disappears after closing and only pops back up when I need a referral. Nope. Iām your Realtor for life.
Property taxes in Texas are no joke and protesting your value every year is one of the smartest things you can do as a homeowner. Even if your value only drops a little, PLEASE still protest it. That little bit adds up year after year and can help keep your monthly payment lower.
The tax assessor valued my clients home at $425,000. I pulled comps, built out a detailed argument for them and told them exactly what points to make during the protest.
We went in arguing $380,000.
The county came back at $383,000⦠and my clients accepted it.
That difference may not sound huge to some people, but over time? It absolutely matters.
FYI: because I get this question almost every year whenever I do my tax protest class, just because the tax assessor drops the value of your home after you protest your taxes (which is the goal), that does NOT have any impact on your resale value⦠
THIS is how you help keep your mortgage lower than your neighbors.
Iām donāt just help someone buy a house⦠I help them protect their investment long after closing day.
Save this for when you need a Realtor ā¤ļø
