Jenny Mai, MBA, MRP, Realtor I love helping others. In real estate, my mission is to prepare, guide, and support you every step of the way so you can reach your goals with confidence.

For 2 consecutive years (2017-2018), I had received President's Volunteer Service Award signed by the President at the time for volunteered more than 200+ hours a year. I volunteered to help rebuild veterans' homes, cleanup the bay area, youth program, Liver, Heart and Diabetes Associations. From these volunteer opportunities, I had met different people from different walk of life and saw many typ

e of small business ideas. I also traveled all over Florida. Pensacola is where I want to retired and Destin or Sarasota have the best sandy white beaches. After I moved back to Dallas because Dallas had always been home to me, I decided to bring others to do more outdoor activities and stay fit with me. Health is my number one priority. Everyone need good health to take care of themselves and others. I'm a foodie, ask me about any coffee shops, Asian restaurants in DFW and my answer would be "I have tried it". I play all kind of sports to keep up with my big appetite. My current sports are badminton and inflatable Standup Paddle boarding. I have 2 groups that play these sports weekly. You can ask me everything about it. We play badminton during the week and when the weather permit, we paddle board on the weekends. We also travel to Texas State parks for paddle board, so we add in camping, fishing and hiking. Throughout these events that I created, I had made friends and long time friends. To me it's not the destination, it's the journey and the great companies that we enjoyed together in harmony. People that know me would describe me as a leader, independent, multi-tasker, funny, realist, social butterfly, and a big foodie! Real estate has proven to be a strong wealth building vehicle for decades. As a local DFW resident and homeowner, I see the benefits of transferring wealth from one generation to the next. I would love to share, help, and assist anyone is looking to buy, sell, lease, or invest in real estate. Reach out to me to be part of your real estate journey.

However, we are still seeing certain homes, in certain areas, in certain price ranges that are getting multiple offers! 🏡 First‑Time Homebuyer Mistakes to Avoid: Buying your first home is exciting — but small mistakes can cost you big. Bankrate highlights the top pitfalls new buyers should watch out for :

• Not shopping around for lenders: Rates and fees vary a lot. Comparing offers can save you thousands over time.

• House hunting before getting preapproved: Preapproval shows what you can truly afford and strengthens your offer.

• Believing you need 20% down: Most first‑time buyers put down around 10%, and many loan programs allow 3–3.5%.

• Letting emotions drive decisions: Stay grounded in your budget and long‑term goals.

• Buying more house than you can afford: Remember hidden costs like repairs, insurance, taxes, and maintenance.

• Making big purchases before closing: New debt can delay or even derail your loan approval. Wait until after closing.

• Draining your savings: Keep an emergency fund for repairs and life events.
