Time to protest your property taxes. Also, if you do not have a homestead exemption (or any other exemptions you qualify for), you can file for your exemptions for FREE. Let me know if I can help. The homestead exemption caps your property tax increase and lowers your tax bill.

Texans who are unhappy with their home appraisal this tax season have a chance to do something about it if they get the process going in the next month. The deadline for most people to protest their property valuation — thus lowering their property tax — in Dallas County is May 15.

Two closings today - these keys represent MONTHS of looking, inspecting, starting over, negotiating, checking repairs, extending deadlines, and working through the process. It took a lot to get here! It was worth it to make sure my clients were in the right houses. So excited for them both.
