As the new normal becomes reality what are office tenants going to do with their office spaces? It appears to me that many tenants are rethinking their need for office space. I have spoken with a few tenants this week that have walked away from their traditional office space and now work completely from home. I know that some companies will return to their offices when this is over but I think we are going to see less demand overall for office space.

The commercial real estate industry is suffering from Covid-19. I think that the pain has only began. In my opinion six months we are going to see a steep decline in office property values. This devaluation is happening now. There will be excellent buying opportunities in 12 months.
