A 143-acre mixed-use development called The Marco is moving forward in Prosper after the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend approval. 🏗️

The project is designed to mimic an Italian village and will feature a 15-acre lagoon with navigable canals, retail, housing, office space and a proposed performing arts center. Developer Jeffory D. Blackard, who also created Adriatica Village in McKinney, plans to cap residential units at 4,400 across apartments, condos, retirement housing and single-family homes.
