I've learned this from BOLD. You can't control your first thought... however, you can control your second one.

The key is to be prepared with an affirmation or trigger that catapults you to it.

Example. If your first thought is negative... I can't do this.
Your affirmation may be: I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Or, I am capable of doing everything I want. Or... I am a Champion... and Champions always find a way to win.

Check out my Champions Find A Way to Win FB page.

Since changing my routine and leaving real estate behind and moving into a new endeavor I’ve realized what’s really important in life.
I’ve always been a hard worker...making work my priority. Now I realize there are other important things in life.
I’ve been putting things into
perspective. God, Family, Country then business and/or everything else. Funny thing is, when it’s in that order things seem to fall into place
Point here is… if things aren’t going quite right, check your priorities. You may have them mixed up like I did.

I've come to realize that farming is very similar to building a successful real estate business. in farming, you have to have some goals, a plan and make a commitment to perform that plan every day. The similarities are endless. In both you have to work everyday by "farming"... in other words, working your garden... or your sphere of influence. Weeding... or removing leads from your data base. Watering... calling. Adding fertilizer... incentives for your clients to refer. There's a quote in the bible from Galatians 6:9 that says: Keep on doing what you know is right... for in due season you will reap a bountiful harvest... if you do not grow weary and quit. Building a successful business and reaping the rewards are not always easy... however, it is possible to those who truly want it. Go do it!

Realtors share similar characteristics of farmers. They continue to nurture their data base as farmers continue to nurture their crops... until it matures and gives them a harvest. There's no stopping... it's a continued effort.
One of my favorite passages in the bible is from Galatians 6:9: Keep on doing what you know is right. For in due season, you will reap a bountiful harvest... if you do not grow weary and quit.

I learned years ago that God is not always fair. However He is just. We will reap what we sow. So be careful what you sow... sow good seeds and you'll get a good crop. Sow bad seeds.. and guess what you'll reap?
Pastor Jimmy Mas once said, if you plant tomato seeds... don't expect corn... watch what you sow.

DON'T GET STUCK IN THE HALLWAY
I've come to understand over the years that God doesn't close one door... without opening up another. The challenge I've had... and maybe you've had is, we get stuck in the hallway... looking back and fretting over the closed door... rather than looking at the new opportunities on the other side of the open door. BE AN OPEN DOOR PERSON.
