I am so happy to be able to attend events like the 2026 Clinton county chapter. It is great to be able to see the recognition for the people that take great care of some the most vulnerable in our community, and help them live their life to the fullest, and help them thrive. It’s inspiring to see this individuals getting recognized for their achievements, and I can’t describe how grateful I am for organizations like that help, care and encourage individuals with different abilities regardless of gender, age, r, or race because WE ARE ALL PART OF OUR COMMUNITY! Friday I was honored to he invited to celebrate foster parents at the Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner. There are so many people that are doing god’s work and foster families are in the top 10!
It is so inspiring to hear what a difference they make in the lives of kids and teenagers that find themselves in the most precarious of situations. Hearing the account of a brave young man that shared his journey and what an impactful difference his foster family made in his life was truly moving.

I was lucky to be able to have a tour of the new CV Tech center being built in Plattsburgh. This expansion will help the community by creating jobs and with all the trades that are needed in the community. It’s an impressive place that we are hoping will attract and mold students into the next generation of Plattsburgh residents!

Yesterday had the please of being at the IAM to hear about the announcement for first project for the Clinton County IDA. This will help build a better skilled work force for the area. So excited to see what else is coming for both The Clinton County IDA and Clinton County College Institute for Advanced Manufacturing

I am starting the week inspired, and I hope you are too. Last Saturday I had the honor to be invited to the South Plattsburgh Firemen Annual Dinner. It was not only great to see the camaraderie and how committed this men and women are to the safety of Plattsburgh . But a few things really struck me. Nina Coolidge, career as Administrative Assistant for 65 years, Michael Caraballo, 35 years of service, Erick Day, 35 years of service, and Judge James Joyce for 35 years of service. Their level of commitment and humble demeanor when recognized really speaks volumes about the kind of people we have in Plattsburgh. North Country Strong is the only way that I can describe them, along with the rest of the department that are ready to risk their lives for our safe every day and night.

Thank you Nina, Michael, Erick and Judge Joyce and all the others for your service, you are all really an inspiration to all of us
