The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act has passed allowing advantages to individual home buyers. The new act can…
- Increase the supply of affordable housing
- Encourage new construction
- Restrict large corporate investors from buying large amounts of single family homes
- Cut regulations and modernize construction of manufactured and modular homes
- Open land use barriers
- Expand and protect rental subsidies and home repairs for rural and low income Americans

But Congress will still need to appropriate the funds to do much of this work so we’ll see what the future brings.
