This year at Apartmentalize, we're proud to partner with AppWork on something bigger than a booth.

We're supporting AppWork's initiative at Ochsner Children's Hospital, where they will be collecting toys and heartfelt messages for children and families in need. Throughout the conference, attendees can stop by Booth 1601, choose a toy, and write a note of encouragement that will be delivered directly to the hospital after the event.

We're honored to be part of an initiative that brings our industry together to make a meaningful impact beyond multifamily housing.

AppWork loves celebrating the hardworking maintenance techs who keep communities running, and Peak Living's Brett Owens at Osito Ridge is our latest $1,000 winner!

Brett was nominated by his property manager, who highlighted how communicative and responsive he is day to day. On top of that, he completed 382 work orders, which is no small thing.

Within the AppWork platform, we gamify performance across work orders, make readys, and more. Techs earn stars, badges, and coins as they complete tasks and hit milestones. Brett was at the top Osito Ridge's and Peak Living's leaderboard with 15,360 coins and an average work order completion time of just 8 hours.

That kind of consistency is exactly what this program is designed to recognize, and we were proud to share this reward with him. Great job, Brett! 🎉

She has effectively overseen a variety of portfolios, encompassing residential, commercial, and student housing properties. Her passion lies in team development, operational excellence, and fostering vibrant communities for residents. Cheray holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation and is recognized for her strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to enhance property performance.

Cheray is a Peloton enthusiast, recently became a Mary Kay consultant, and loves to travel. She enjoys mentoring and supporting others in their career growth.

Outside of property management, Mary finds great fulfillment in mentoring and cultivating a learning culture within her team. Supporting the growth and success of others is an integral part of her leadership approach, and it is a passion she holds dear.

Originally from San Diego, California, Mary has made Utah her home for over 12 years. She has built her career on the foundations of problem-solving, collaboration, and a deep love for real estate. As a busy parent of four, her life is always filled with adventure-both professionally and personally!
