It happens all the time -- an interested buyer looks into homes that are for sale and contacts the listing agent with questions. The client is so interested in the home that they decide to buy it with the listing agent. 📞💸

The only problem is that the listing agent is already obligated to represent the seller's interests. If the agent represents both the seller and the buyer, they are unable to fully represent the interests of both parties. It's impossible. That's like a defendant wanting the prosecutor to represent them in court.

The agent can certainly facilitate the transaction, but they can never be solely interested in what's best for YOU if they are also worried about what's best for THEM.

The kids are on Fall Break right now. Every room I've been in today has seen a parade of children coming in and out with questions, requests, tattle tales, declarations, and stories.

This particular photo shows a rare instance when that parade collided on itself and ALL 4 OF THEM were in with me at the same time trying to share 4 different things with me. I was just trying to put on my my makeup.

I wouldn't trade these knuckleheads for anything, but I would negotiate for a few minutes of alone time. 😂
