Thanks for visiting my page! I'm a lifelong resident of Iowa, specifically the eastern Polk County areas of Pleasant Hill and rural Mitchellville. I've been married to my husband for 30 years, and we have two grown sons, one of which I work with on the Austin Bittner Real Estate Team. I enjoy being outdoors and kayaking, traveling as often as I can, and I'm a huge football fan! I grew up in the real estate market with my parent's owning numerous rental properties. On a personal level, I have been flipping homes for over twenty years, and also have worked as an interior designer for both a national company, as well as owning my own design consulting business. I have a huge passion for real estate! With my background, I bring a vast amount of knowledge to the real estate experience for both my buyers and sellers. I’m able to help spot trouble areas in home’s conditions more easily and hopefully offer some advice on how to go about fixing these issues, give some general estimate of costs that may be involved, and help put my buyers and sellers in touch with contractors to address these issues in a quick manner. I’m also able to see past the condition of homes and offer suggestions on improvements & designs beyond just paint and flooring, to allow for full enjoyment of the space. SCRUB DAY is next Saturday!! Time to get the yard cleaned up, maybe you have some large pieces of furniture in your basement or garage that needs to go, or some old tires and junk taking up parking space inside your garage? It’s time to load it up and drop it off! Must be a resident of Des Moines and show proof of residency. See original post for more details.

This month's SCRUB events will take place on Saturday, August 15, offering FREE bulk trash drop-off for Des Moines residents!

For appliances, furniture, tires, TVs and other large items that don't fit in your curbside cart, visit SCRUB at the Metro Central Transfer Station, located at 4198 Delaware Avenue.

Yard waste, including tree limbs (max diameter 2 ft.; max length 10 ft.), leaves, hay, grass and garden clippings can be taken to our Compost Center at 1601 Harriet Street.

Both events run from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Proof of Des Moines residence (ID, license or recent utility bill) is required upon entry.
