Pleasant Hill is where my wife and I are raising our family, and where I’ve invested my time as a local business leader, community volunteer, and active Chamber of Commerce board member. My background in real estate and community development has given me a front-row seat

to the challenges and opportunities facing our city. I believe in thoughtful growth that strengthens our neighborhoods, supports local businesses, and keeps Pleasant Hill connected as we look to the future. At the core, my motivation is simple: I want Pleasant Hill to remain a great place to live, work, and raise a family — not only for today’s residents, but for the next generation. Well, that’s a wrap!

Last night’s election came down to just 121 votes — such a close finish! While the outcome wasn’t what we’d hoped for, I’m incredibly proud of the campaign we ran. It was rooted in community, respect, and real conversations about Pleasant Hill’s future; I wouldn’t change a thing about that!

To everyone who supported this campaign by voting, hosting a yard sign, attending events, or spreading the word — thank you! Your encouragement means the world!

Congratulations to Andy Birch on earning a seat on the Council! I know he’ll continue to serve Pleasant Hill with thoughtfulness and care.

Although this campaign has ended, my commitment to Pleasant Hill hasn’t. I’ll continue serving through the Parks & Recreation Commission, the Chamber of Commerce, and Next Generation Pleasant Hill. Through that capacity, I’m excited to keep working alongside others who share a passion for our city’s future!

Pleasant Hill has an incredible path ahead, and I’m honored to still play a part in shaping it!

I’ve worked directly with the Greater Des Moines Partnership, our state representatives, and others to speak up for Pleasant Hill’s needs. From the redesignation of Highway 65 to sustainable tax policies, Pleasant Hill’s future depends on forward thinking leadership.

We may be smaller than some of our neighbors, but our voice carries weight when we lead with collaboration and clarity.
