Many people think a Realtor’s job is just “finding a house” or “selling a home,” but the truth is our value goes far beyond that. Our role is to guide and protect you through every step of the transaction, managing the extensive paperwork and countless signatures to ensure everything is completed accurately and legally.
We also invest in your success. Realtors pay out-of-pocket for listing photos, home measurement surveys, staging advice, even hiring a cleaner or cleaning themselves when needed to make sure your home is ready for the market, and the countless hours spent driving to and from your home, showing it, or visiting properties. We pay monthly fees for access to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and work to mobilize the entire real estate community to market your property effectively.
While we are at it, many people don’t realize the difference between a Realtor and a real estate agent, or the responsibilities and potential liabilities we take on to protect our clients. And, importantly, we don’t get paid until the transaction closes. Our commitment is real, and our work continues until your home is successfully sold.
The bottom line is that finding a home is easy, but guiding, protecting, and assisting clients through the entire process is where a Realtor’s true value lies. ✨🏡🤍
