My husband and I raised our children in Pleasanton and we’ve been here for 20 years. It is a great community. It has great school and sports programs for the kids. The downtown has great restaurants, shops and activities throughout the year such as Concerts in the Park on Friday nights, Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, Street Fair every first Wednesday of the Month during the summer, and more.
Pleasanton is also home to the Alameda County Fair Grounds which host a variety of events including the Alameda County Fair in June-July. Winte Vinyards hosts Concerts during the spring and summer, and has a wonderful Restaurant and Golf Course open year around. Shadow Cliffs Recreational Area for water sports, such as swimming, fishing and water slides. These are just a few things that Pleasanton offers.
