My clients closed on their ADORABLE lake house yesterday.

The closing was done virtually, so I didn't get to experience everything in person with them. However, I called today to see how they were doing and they are hard at work, making this place their own. We asked if the seller would sell it to them fully furnished, at no extra cost and he did! Their work won't include too much heavy moving, but instead, just decorating and putting some finishing touches on everything.

Labor Day weekend will be a good one for them on the lake! I am happy in knowing that they trusted me through this process and that we got it all done before summer officially ends! ❤️

Inspection for our listing in Trenton, done and successful! ✅️👍

Closing is set for mid-September for both. Praying that things continue to go smoothly until then! 🙏

And tomorrow, we will OFFICIALLY close on the adorable lake house for my other client! ✅️❤️🏡

Wow! What an absolute whirlwind the last few weeks has been two of my clients.

For my client who found the perfect lake house back in July, we got the official "clear to close" two days ago and they close on Monday. She and her family will be enjoying Labor Day weekend on the water and I couldn't be happier for them! ❤️

My other client had his offer accepted on his new home, but it was cotingent on the sale of his own home-(my new listing in Trenton.)
Well, we got it listed 11 days ago and I am overjoyed to say that it is OFFICIALLY under contract as of today!
Inspections for both properties will be taking place in the next few days and if all goes well, both will close toward the end of September.

I joke that I am the Jerry McGuire of real estate agents, (a comparison that younger people don't understand and definitely dates me... 😅 lol).
In other words, I may not have a ton of clients, but I PROMISE to work tirelessly to help the one or two that have trusted me to help find their next home or sell their current one!

🏡🌊 After a year of searching for the PERFECT lake house, we finally found it! 🌊🏡

My client knew exactly what she wanted for her family’s second home on the water. The goal was to stay within two hours of their primary home in Southeast Michigan, so we did plenty of traveling and exploring along the way!

Last week, we found the one, submitted an offer, and it was accepted! 🎉 After a successful inspection, we’re officially on our way to closing just in time for Labor Day weekend!

I’m so happy to have been part of this fun journey with my client and her family, and I can’t wait to see all the wonderful memories they’ll make at their little lake house. ❤️

I just want to say, next month, I'll be celebrating my 20th year of being a licensed real estate agent! I have seen so many changes with the housing market over the years and with each transaction, I learn something new. Today, I learned how to deal with a last minute issue at closing when the person from the buyers title company had a tire blowout on the expressway and couldn't make it. The seller's agent wasn't present either. 🤦‍♀️ The important part was, Embassy Title saved the day and closed both sides! (Thank you Kelly and Kevin!)

Although I'm a part-time agent, more or less, I describe my work ethic with my one or two clients a year like that of the movie "Jerry McGuire" where complete and total focus is on that ONE client and how I can help them to buy or sell their home. I am thankful to those who have trusted me in the past to represent them as their agent! This is such a rewarding profession and the personal part of my job, like telling a first time home buyer their offer was accepted, is my FAVORITE part of what I do!

I won't lie, the market is nothing short of crazy right now! The last nine weeks, working to find my client his home and having our offer accepted on a couple of occassions, was NOT an easy task, but I loved every minute of it!
