REALTOR® Jerry Moscowitz continues a family tradition of giving back through the 40th annual Moscowitz Family Toy Drive, benefiting Toys for Tots. This week alone, Jerry collected 871 toys, bringing his estimated total to more than 16,000 toys donated over four decades.
The effort has always been about helping families during a season that can be especially hard. Jerry says the goal is to ease the burden on parents so they do not have to choose between putting food on the table and buying toys for their children. The drive has also become a multigenerational tradition, with his daughters, grandchildren, and longtime friends participating to pass along the importance of helping others quietly and selflessly.
Some of Jerry’s proudest moments have been seeing others inspired to start their own toy drives, including one that has gathered more than 2,100 toys over the past 20 years.
