RENTING VERSUS BUYING: NO CONTEST.
This Federal Reserve chart shows homeowners have nearly 40 times more net worth than renters. Nationally, the average homeowner has accumulated $147,000 in housing wealth over the last 5 years. Those predicting a housing crash are wrong. Housing will likely continue to appreciate, although at a much more moderate pace, says Housing Wire's lead analyst, Logan Mohtashami.
