This project for a customer in Plympton was a bit more challenging and took a lot of work but the results were great! We weeded and pruned all the beds around the property. Then added landscape edging and filled it with crushed stone before we spread mulch or wood chips on the beds. Not only does this section of stone give the yard/beds great contrast it also prevents any runoff or wash out issues.

These past few weeks have been great for our business! The schedule has been filled largely with mowing and maintenance. Now starting to get into our summer project work.

The following pictures are of job we did for a wonderful customer in Middleboro. The customer recently added a custom shed to their property and was looking for a solution to fill the areas between the shed where it was difficult to grow grass. We used a mini excavator to move and set these large reclaimed field stones, some exceedingly 5ft in length. The natural stones fit perfectly with the existing hardscape on the property. Loam, final grade, and seed to come upon completion of shed.

Shrub removal and sod installation for a long time customer in Cedarville. We started excavation of the shrubs on a mild day in early March. Waited a few short months to allow the weather to stabilize before installing the sod. With the current weather pattern, the past few weeks have been absolutely ideal for new growth or sod installation.

One of our commercial customers in the Colony Place area was looking to simplify the landscape of his property to help reduce the maintenance. After walking the property we determined which beds were going to stay and which were going to be replaced with sod. We started by excavating, grubbing, and grading the areas that were being replaced with sod. Then we installed 4500sqft of beautiful green sod fresh from the farm in R.I. Boom! Instant lawn!

The team at Jacobs Enterprises has been firing on all cylinders these past few weeks! Here are some photos from one of the larger scale projects we completed this week. This project consisted of the following services; weeding, edging, mulch, thatch, aerate, 50/50 mix (compost+loam) top-dress, lime, starter fertilizer, and 150lbs of seed. In a few short weeks and plenty of water this property will be top tier!
