Today, the Idaho House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed HB 583 (54–16) — legislation proposed by Idaho REALTORS® — that clarifies existing Idaho law relating to short-term rentals and adds much-needed protections for private property owners across the Gem State.

Idaho REALTORS® would like to thank the Idaho House of Representatives and our bill sponsors, including Chairman Jordan Redman, for his steadfast leadership fighting for private property rights.

HB 583 now moves to the Idaho Senate.
