🎀 DAY 1 — IN OCTOBER, WE WEAR PINK 🎀
For the entire month of October, I’m going to be sharing my OOTD in pink as a small way to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗
This one is especially personal for me.
In 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What’s crazy is that it all started with a friend sharing her own recent breast cancer diagnosis and encouraging others to get their mammograms. Her post made me stop and realize that I had gone several years without having mine done, even though I have a family history of breast cancer.
I made the appointment. And that mammogram changed everything.
So, if seeing me wear pink every day in October does nothing else, I hope it reminds one person to schedule the mammogram they’ve been putting off. 🎀
Early detection matters. And sometimes, a simple reminder can make all the difference.
So here we go… 31 days of pink! 💗�Day 1 starts now!
