Your first step in building a strong credit profile is to go through your credit report and take the time to correct any collections and judgments and dispute any errors or inaccuracies.?

One thing you’ll need to avoid if you’re looking to improve your credit score is late payments on a credit card (or other bills, for that matter). There’s nothing you can do about mistakes in the past, but make sure you’re paying attention to this moving forward.?
