Remembering Gail Harris

It is with the heaviest heart that I share the passing of a beloved member of our MAY family, Gail Harris. As our longtime Corporate Communications Director—and truly the brains behind so much of our success—Gail was a force to be reckoned with. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and leaves behind her wonderful daughter Kara, (husband Shawn) and husband Bob.

When Gail “retired,” we had the privilege of celebrating her on a cruise, but in reality, she never stopped being a part of MAY. Her contributions were immeasurable, and her mentorship and friendship are gifts I will carry with me forever. Gail never compromised on quality, and even in her final months, she ran circles around her peers with her sharp mind and unmatched dedication.

Her loss leaves a void that will be nearly impossible to fill. In her memory, may we always properly organize the I:Drive and log out of the server the right way. And personally, I’ll be thinking of her with every pierogi and 5-Hour Energy I see.

Rest easy, Gail. You will always be a part of this company and this family.
