🏡 Florida’s architectural control statute, Section 720.3035, was recently amended.

Under the 2026 amendment to HB 803, an HOA or ARC cannot require a building permit to be issued before reviewing an architectural application. However, approval may still be conditioned on obtaining any permits required by the local government.

Staying informed about legislative changes helps HOA boards and ARCs maintain a fair and consistent architectural review process.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Leadership Summit last Friday!
