Laying in my “healing” bed, pain is awful, my sweet wife is caring for me again - and then there’s good ole Joseph Jetton!

“I was a Baptist or at least attended a Baptist church for a lot of my adult life...once I heard someone ask Pastor Johnny Hunt, Pastor 1st Baptist Woodstock Ga...'Can Baptist dance?'...He thought for a moment then answered...'Some can, some can't'...you figure it out...David, 'a man after God's own heart, danced before the Lord'...different denominations have different [doctrines] (teachings)...I was taught early in my Christian life...'Scripture is the best interpreter of scripture'...each of us have 'walked through the valleys of the shadow of death'...[But God], 'You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with Joy, that I might sing praises to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give You thanks and praise FOREVER'...sometimes our 'valleys of the shadow of death' seem like they will never end...however, they always do; even our lives are described as 'A passing shadow'...a daily walk in His word will...'turn your mourning into dancing'...try it you'll like it...

I’m having a rough “day after surgery”! I’m optimistic! Surgeon says it was a success! I’m looking forward to walking normally again!

Why should I fear? Whom shall I fear?

He either IS or He isn't...'the Lord is my Light and my Salvation'...in Gen 1 God said 'Let there be Light'...the word used here is Or...in the Hebrew it means the opposite of darkness and it is a Light that man did not kindle nor can man or anything else extinguish...He IS our Light AND our Salvation...'So why should I be afraid?'...'the Lord IS my Fortress, protecting me from danger, [so why should I tremble?]'...scripture teaches us to ...'cast [ALL] our cares upon Him, for He cares for us'...Therefore, 'when evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me...THEY will stumble and fall'...He's got this and He's got us (you and me)...don't know about you however I don't always [ACT] like it...Yup, a work in progress...
