Start these mini projects now and enjoy a facelift on your home now AND a higher sale price later!

1. Plant privacy bushes/make your outdoor space unique! In Florida the backyard is a second living space so make it irresistible to future buyers. Be careful not to go overboard on costly peojects! Bushes alone go a long way as many perspective buyers rule out homes where the backyard is a fishbowl. 🌴

2. Upgrade any builder mirrors in bathrooms 🪞

3. Add wall trim like wainscoting- custom trim work on walls makes a home feel luxurious and sets your home apart. BE CAREFUL not to go too custom as you still want to appeal to the masses when you sell. I have a lot of timeless suggestions I can share 🤩

4. Upgrade lighting that is lackluster- especially in main spaces. Again, make sure your choices are too bold but lighting really brings a space an elevated look. There are many budget friendly options that accomplish this 💡

5. Upgrade any dated faucets and k***s- hardware plays a large role in how a space feels and an outdated faucet can kill th vibe quick 🚿

6. Repaint with warm neutrals. You want a warm, inviting, clean space. Avoid gray tones or anything too bold. If you want something bold stick to a powder room for resale 🎨

7. Upgrade closets and/or laundry room- this can be a manageable DIY project 🔨

8. It’s never too early to declutter- less is more when you put your home on the market to achieve that model home look 🧼

9. Touch up trim and baseboards/recaulk areas that have cracked 🏠
