I recently resigned from my job as a tenured professor of Physical Therapy to take care of my health and focus more on what makes me happy. My husband and I purchased an outdated farmhouse on 10.5 acres next to Olympic National Park and are embarking on the biggest adventure of our lives.... turning this house into STR, and developing the extra acreage into a small, private RV park - ALL without an ounce of experience (other than the internet).

It’s crab season! 🦀 We weren’t exactly thrilled about tossing a live crab into boiling water (Karl took one for the team 😬), but it was worth it. Also learned that crabs have something called “mustard”… looks questionable, tastes incredible.
