Walking distance to downtown Port Austin, you can window shop, stock up on supplies, treat the family to ice cream, walk on the beach or breakwall, and even stroll through the weekend Farmers’ Market. t Bird Creek and Grindstone City harbors (both offering boat launch facilities), kayak rentals (with access to Turnip Rock) and canoe rentals (with access to Port Crescent State Park), Bird Creek (18-hole) golf course, and many lighthouses and historical sites. Or drive along the lake to Caseville (approx. 30 minutes). The house was recently renovated including new bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, deck, windows and siding. The two car garage is converted into a tiki bar complete with fridge, sink, TV and a BBQ grill. Washer and dryer are located on-site. Detached barn contains deck furniture, hammock, yard games, etc. Two of the bedrooms contain queen size beds and the third includes a full size bed with a twin bunk PLUS a bonus twin bed. Both bathrooms have full tubs and showers, and the main bathroom has his/hers sinks. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of counter space, a table which seats 4 (but can be extended to seat 6), a fridge, electric stove/oven and new dishwasher. There is new furniture and fresh paint throughout. There is no central A/C, but there are ceiling fans throughout and because it is shaded by many mature trees, the house stays comfortably cool.
