What is Equity?💰

Equity is the portion of your home’s value that you truly own. It’s calculated by taking your home’s current market value and subtracting what you still owe on your mortgage.

For example, if your home is worth $400,000 and your mortgage balance is $250,000, you have $150,000 in equity.

Building equity can increase your financial flexibility and create opportunities for future investments or home improvements.💰
