At the beginning of this year, I put PLATINUM on my bingo vision board… and I finally get to check it off!!!
This is such a huge accomplishment for me, and I’m incredibly thankful for every friend, family member, client, past client, and referral who helped make this happen. I genuinely LOVE what I do. I love helping people. I love problem solving. I love navigating the hard stuff and finding a way to get people to the closing table. I just truly love this business. And I’m so thankful for the people I get to do it alongside. For a team lead who constantly pushes me to do more and reminds me what I’m capable of. For a branch manager who is always a phone call away and encourages me to keep putting my best foot forward. For a broker who will literally stay on the phone with you while you cry because sometimes these transactions are just HARD. And of course, my team…the people who are always willing to open a door when I’ve overbooked myself, step in when I need help, or keep things moving while I disappear to Alaska for 12 days. Congratulations to my sellers on the sale of their property!

Buyers don’t let “Contingent Upon Sale” automatically scare you away from submitting an offer.
We originally had this property under contract with a buyer whose purchase was contingent upon the sale of their own home. While that contract was in place, another buyer came along who was able to move forward without that contingency and close in just TWO WEEKS! The takeaway for buyers? If you love a home, talk to your Realtor before assuming it’s no longer an option. Depending on the terms of the existing contract, there may still be an opportunity for your offer to be considered. And for sellers? A contingent offer isn’t necessarily a bad offer either! Every offer has different terms, risks, and benefits, and part of my job is helping you understand those differences so you can make the best decision for YOUR situation. Real estate isn’t always as simple as active, pending, sold. Sometimes there are a few twists along the way.

Every buyer’s journey to finding a home is different. Some find the “one” on their very first showing. Others search for weeks, months, or even years. But no matter how long the journey takes, I always tell my buyers the same thing, “Don’t settle…You’ll know when it’s your house. There’s a moment when we walk into the right house and you will pause, and you”ll start looking around a little longer. You can picture your life there. And there’s this sense of peace that comes over you that says, “This is it. This is home.” This buyer waited over TWO YEARS for that moment. We searched, we stayed patient, and we refused to settle for a house that simply checked a few boxes here and there. And finally, we found the one. Now we’re waiting on appraisal and one step closer to turning a two year search into a place they finally get to call HOME. Sometimes the right house takes a little longer to find, but the right one is worth waiting for.
