One discount point costs 1% of your total loan amount. In exchange, lenders typically drop your interest rate by 0.25% for the entire life of the loan.

📊 The Math Breakdown (Example)
On a $300,000 mortgage at a 6.5% interest rate:
• Upfront Cost: $3,000 (1% of the loan)
• New Rate: 6.25%
• Monthly Savings: ~$49 every month
• Break-Even Point: About 5 years

Today I’m here at an inspection for one of my clients, and it brought back some pretty special memories. My wife and I actually took our engagement photos right here at this park years ago!

Edgewater is more than just a beautiful place to buy a home it’s a small town with so much character, charm, and community. 🌴🌊

🚤 DUNLAWTON BOAT RAMP IS NOW OPEN! 🌴🌊

Great news for our boating community! The newly renovated Frank E. Scofield Memorial Boat Ramp at Port Orange Causeway Park, located under the Dunlawton Bridge, is officially open! 🎉

The $1.65 million renovation brings upgraded launching access to the Halifax River with a fresh, modern layout designed to make getting out on the water easier and more enjoyable.

The project was funded in part through the Florida Inland Navigation District and Volusia County ECHO grants.
