We've owned this property in the Sequim area for about four months. When we got it, the plan was to sell it as-is — find the right buyer who wanted to take on the project themselves. Good bones, livable space, beautiful location. The kind of house that makes sense for someone willing to put in the work.
But as-is sales take time. The right buyer has to find you, and the numbers have to line up for them. After sitting with it, we decided to just take the project on ourselves.
That's actually the same decision a lot of homeowners face — hold and wait for the right as-is buyer, or move in a different direction. There's no universal right answer. It depends on your timeline, your situation, and what matters most to you.
If you're sitting on a property like this and trying to figure out what makes sense — we're happy to talk it through. No pressure, just honest options.
