Thinking about moving to Stuart, Florida? 🌴 Here are 3 things you should know:
1️⃣ Downtown Stuart is genuinely walkable 🚶‍♂️
One of the things that makes Stuart unique is its downtown. You’ve got restaurants, coffee shops, bars, boutiques, and plenty of places to explore—all within walking distance.
2️⃣ This is a boating town 🛥️
If boating and being near the water aren’t part of your lifestyle, you may not want to pay the premium that comes with waterfront or dock access. But if boating IS your thing, Stuart is tough to beat.
3️⃣ Prices can vary dramatically from block to block 🏡
Flood zones, waterfront access, location, and insurance can all have a major impact on the true cost of a home. The listing price doesn’t always tell the whole story. Insurance alone can change your monthly costs more than you might expect.
💡 BONUS TIP:
When comparing homes in Stuart, don’t just look at the purchase price. Make sure you understand the insurance, flood zone, taxes, HOA, and potential maintenance costs too.

Thinking about moving to Jensen Beach? Here are 3 things you should know before you make the move:
1️⃣ It’s quieter and more seasonal
Jensen Beach is generally quieter than Port St. Lucie and Stuart. During season, expect some extra traffic crossing the causeway to Hutchinson Island, while the off-season is much quieter. The best part? You’re still close to restaurants, shopping, beaches, and everything else the Treasure Coast has to offer.
2️⃣ Pay attention to the age of some homes
Some of Jensen Beach’s iconic Key West-style homes are a little older. When buying, make sure you’re paying close attention to the AC and roof during inspections. It’s definitely not a deal breaker—it’s just something you’ll want to factor into your decision.
3️⃣ You’ll have some of the best beach access on the Treasure Coast 🏖️
Between Hutchinson Island and the Jensen Beach Causeway, you get that classic Old Florida beach-town feel that makes the area so unique.
🍹 BONUS FACT:
You can actually drink alcohol on the beach in Martin County! Just remember: no glass. 😉

5 Things to Look Forward to in Port St. Lucie

There are five things to look forward to in Port St. Lucie, and here are a few that I’m especially excited about:

**1. PSL Soccer Club ⚽️**
The PSL Soccer Club is expected to begin play in 2027, with a 6,000-seat stadium anticipated to be completed in 2028. It’ll be pretty cool to finally have a home team to root for!

**2. Walton & 1**
This is where that 6,000-seat stadium will be located. The development is also expected to bring new restaurants, shops, and even a hotel to the area.

**3. Chef Luca Corleone’s New Restaurant 🇮🇹** Luca Corleone-Fontanarosa
I’ve been waiting for this one for a long time, especially since I never even got the chance to visit his first restaurant. I don’t know how that happened!

I’m really looking forward to some authentic Italian food. Chef Luca seems like a great guy, I follow him on Instagram, and it’s clear he knows Italian food. He also made a post on Instagram the other day that made me want to visit his new restaurant even more.

**4. The Port District**
Located off Westmoreland Boulevard, this is already a great area with a boardwalk and beautiful views of the St. Lucie River. There’s also a great playground for the kids, and they’re adding **The Grove**, which will bring even more restaurants and entertainment to the area.

**5. Tradition Regional Park 🌳**
Everyone seems to be looking forward to this one. The park is expected to feature a **BMX track**, lots of baseball fields, plenty of space for events and food trucks, and opportunities to get out and enjoy nature.

I’m really looking forward to seeing all of these projects come together and watching Port St. Lucie continue to grow.

How important is the beach to you?
If you want to be at the beach several times a week, the part of Port St. Lucie you choose can make a BIG difference.
📍 Tradition / Western PSL — newer communities, amenities, restaurants and a different lifestyle.
📍 Eastern PSL / 34952 — closer to Jensen Beach and Hutchinson Island, which may make more sense if beach access is a priority.
Neither is necessarily better — it comes down to how you want to live.
