Quimper Village

Quimper Village A 55+ Cohousing Condominium Community in Port Townsend that was successfully built by its residents.

We are a fun-loving group of adults over 55, enjoying such activities as rowing, biking, walking and hiking, band conducting, playing musical instruments, sailing, singing, crafting, camping, dancing, fixing meals together, talking over coffee, and gardening. We have successfully built a community with a neighborhood design that encourages a strong sense of community centered around a common house with complete participatory resident management while also balancing household privacy.

Budget time. We gathered for our monthly community meeting where we got our first look at our budget for 2027. We are looking at increases in utilities and bumping up our reserves. Serious issues shared with transparency and open feedback. Final budget will be decided in September. I appreciate our Finance Team for their expertise and clear communications.
