The Port Washington Water District has set mandatory irrigation guidelines to protect our water supply through extreme heat, saltwater intrusion, and reduced capacity while new treatment facilities are built.
Your automatic sprinkler start time depends on your zone:
🟢 10pm–12am — Manorhaven & Flower Hill West
🟡 11pm–1am — Baxter Estates & Plandome Manor
🟠 1am–3am — Port Washington North & Flower Hill East 🔵 3am–5am — Port Washington (unincorporated areas) ⬜ 7pm–9pm — Municipal & commercial properties

Watering by hand? A few rules for everyone:
* No watering 10am–4pm
* Odd-numbered homes water on odd days; even & non-numbered homes on even days
* 15 minutes per area, 2 hours max per day
