As the year comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a season of steady progress and thoughtful growth at Prairie’s Edge.

Over the past year, the development continued to take shape as a long-term neighborhood designed to complement its surroundings. Homes were completed; infrastructure advanced, and community spaces continued to take shape. Each step forward was guided by the same intention that has shaped Prairie’s Edge from the beginning: building a place that fits naturally into the landscape, the city, and the everyday rhythm of life along Lake Michigan.

This year also marked an important milestone on the commercial side of the development, as we welcomed Portside Investment Advisors to the Prairie’s Edge commercial space. Their presence reflects the continued evolution of the development into a mixed-use environment that supports both residential life and professional services, while remaining connected to the character and needs of Port Washington.

Just as important as the physical progress is the ongoing collaboration with local partners, city leadership, neighbors, and residents who have helped move Prairie’s Edge forward. As we head into the new year, we’re proud of how far Prairie’s Edge has come and remain focused on continuing that progress, one step at a time.
