Our 5-year business anniversary quietly came and went this summer, as we had our noses to the grindstone inspecting Southwest Michigan, but we wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for all of our clients and supporters.
We started Baker Property Inspections in 2021, with the belief that home buyers deserve thorough, detailed, unbiased inspections, even when the whole truth is hard to hear. In the beginning, honestly…it felt like an uphill climb. Most inspectors stay busy thanks to real estate agent referrals, but we have had to work hard to establish our reputation in the community so that buyers can find us. Now with more than 250 reviews across platforms, we are especially proud that words like “thorough,” “unbiased,” and “honest” come up again and again.
A lot has changed in the 5 years that we have been in business. Although Jason had 5 years of experience when he started Baker Property Inspections , the size, complexity, and variety of properties that he has inspected has grown significantly. Almost 2 years ago, Audrey joined Jason in the field, becoming an InterNACHI Certified Inspector with a particularly sharp eye for defects. In April, we both passed the National Home Inspection Exam, and became licensed Inspectors in Illinois.
