The way traditional real estate is sold is backwards and can be improved!!
We ask a buyer to make the biggest investment of their life and then we say let’s go see what you bought…let’s get your home inspected.
At that very moment is when all the anger, anxiety, and uncertainty happens. And 15 percent of the time the deal gets killed.
And if the deal doesn’t get killed then never in the history of selling the house has the price of the house gone up after the home inspection is done. No buyer has ever said “my report looks great…I will give you 20k more for the house”.
In fact the opposite happens….buyers want a repair of an item, replacement of an item, or a reduction in price. All those things cost the seller money, and when there is a reduction in price it doesn’t just cost the seller money it costs both agents money.
