From a licensed wildlife rehabber:

Their mother was shot today, she was doing a fantastic job and should have been allowed to continue but because she was standing at the edge of someone’s yard in the daytime she was executed! Remember folks, wildlife of all kind are seen in the daytime frequently this time of year because they are hungry! In the moms eyes it’s safer to leave their young in the day because fewer predators are out, what they don’t realize is the worst predator of all is waiting 😞 and it's us.

This female pit mix is looking for her new home. She is SUPER housebroken and friendly. She has been at the shelter for quite some time and is getting depressed. She is currently our only dog needing a furever home. Please share and help get her a new home.
