We are thrilled to share the opening of Wade Creek Commons Phase I, a four-building, 36-unit project offering a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom homes in Estacada, Clackamas County, OR. This development was completed in partnership with Home First Development, with a shared vision to build quality, stable, and affordable housing for those impacted by the Oregon wildfires of 2020.
Wade Creek Commons is more than just buildings; it's a place where families can thrive, build connections, and create lasting memories. We are excited to welcome families to this vibrant community, set aside at 60% of the area median income. This project is built to Earth Advantage Gold standards, which addresses sustainability in five categories: energy efficiency, healthy indoor air quality, resource efficiency, environmental responsibility and water conservation. Community amenities include a clubhouse, playground, courtyard with outdoor seating and BBQ, solar panels, metal roofing, and onsite parking. Unit features encompass a patio/balcony with storage, in-unit laundry, quartz countertops, subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, luxury vinyl flooring, and spacious, functional layouts.
The project was financed with Local Innovation Fast Track (LIFT) funds, construction, and permanent debt. We extend our gratitude to our partners and community allies who made this project possible. Thank you to the Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS), Beneficial State Bank, Todos Juntos Clackamas County, and City of Estacada - Government for your support. Special thanks to our construction, engineering, and design teams: Beaudin Construction / Constructive Inc., Massaad Engineering Group Inc, Doug Circosta, Tabor Design Group, and LAURUS DESIGNS, LLC.
Wade Creek Commons Phase I marks progress in our commitment to creating enduring and community-focused housing developments. Phase I completed at the end of December and Phase II is scheduled to start construction later this quarter. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact Wade Creek Commons will have on the lives of our residents.
