I don’t always post a “Just Sold,” but this one was dear to my heart.

The mission: Relocating my aunt and uncle from Dubai back home to Lake Oswego.

The strategy: While they were 8,000 miles away, I was their eyes on the ground - creating narrated video tours and shooting traffic timelapses to vet streets.

The requirement: No flips. No gray boxes. If it’s a fixer, it must have soul.

Where they landed delivered. A vintage beauty on a cul-de-sac that feels like a reprieve from the modern world. In a market often obsessed with painting over history, we celebrated the original oak, wallpaper, and warm interior brick. It’s a home that feels like the “drinking out of the garden hose” years - a nod to simpler times.

Some transactions have friction. This one was a collaborative masterclass between buyer and seller - as smooth as Tennessee whiskey. 🎶

I couldn’t be happier to have my family back stateside - and I’m so grateful they trusted in me to help navigate this move on their way back HOME. 🤍

A week in AZ 🌵Toured Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West, hit the Botanical Gardens, golfed, and hunted for vintage while the folks did Giants Spring Training. ⚾️

This past weekend reminded me how powerful it is when a home speaks to two buyer groups at once.

Not because it was remodeled. Not because it was super trendy. Because it was full of opportunity.

As I was hanging the sign in the yard, cars were stacked doing drive-bys & circling the cul-de-sac. Over the weekend, more than 35 groups came through the open house. Appointments were stacked.

I still get nervous every time we list.
Did we price it right? How will the market respond?

This home sat right at the intersection of two massive buyer pools. First-time buyers who are hungry for a place where they can build sweat equity. Affordability matters most for them.

And the largest segment of our population right now, folks who are downsizing & looking for single-level living.

Last flowers of summer, snacks & drinks for today’s buyers & their inspector.🌻

🎉 Key Day! 🎉

This one was especially dear to my heart, as we’ve been friends since our days at Canby High.

Time and again, I’m reminded that the real estate journey is rarely linear — but trusting the process is key.

We made two offers before landing this one, and it turned out to be lightyears ahead — by far the best.

While missing out on previous homes feels initially disappointing, the right home true, does come along when it’s meant to be. ✨We dusted ourselves off, got back on the horse, and rode right into the sunset corridor. 🌅

One of my guiding principles in real estate is the golden trifecta: Price, Condition, and Location. And boy did this home absolutely nail it. And, I was able to secure them a brand-new roof to boot! 🔑

In the end, it brings me so much joy to see my clients so stoked with their swinging 1970s ranch, reimagined with a down-to-the-studs, super classy remodel — a stunning value.

My clients house-hacked this sale by combining multiple generations of their family & pooling their resources to purchase this stunning luxury waterfront home. Many people feel homeownership is out of reach in today’s climate of rising living costs, interest rates, and Oregon’s higher home prices—but it’s absolutely possible with creativity & planning. Whether it’s combining households with friends, bringing in multiple generations of family, or purchasing a home with an ADU (or the potential for one), the key is starting early. Take advantage of buyer down payment assistance programs in your state (Oregon has amazing options!) and assemble a strong team with a tenacious agent and a savvy lender. Forever in love with a good fixer 🛠️ A few weeks ago some of my fave friends & clients and I shot for HGTV’s House Hunters 🔎 While this home was a hard pass for the family, I was enamored with this waterfront home in West Linn. The home was immaculate for its age with its perfectly preserved multi-colored sinks, tile and wall paper, with a view of the Willamette River from every room in the home. While the joy of helping people find & win their dream home is my most favorite part of being a realtor, a close second is touring a great gem & envisioning the possibilities of what one could do with a fantastic cosmetic fixer. 🛠️
