August always arrives like a love letter you forget to open until it’s almost too late. Dahlias, liatris, verbena, black eyed Susans, roses, cosmos, snapdragons, hydrangeas, anemones, lavender, yarrow, and zinnias, all in bloom. The flowers are louder now. The light is softer. The evenings linger just a little less.

Maybe that’s the magic of August—
everything in full bloom just before it slips away.

My 47th birthday is coming soon, and my daughter’s too. She turns 18 and will be leaving the nest. Felt too fast and fleeting, this season with her, but like my summer garden, it was the most beautiful. I also know that like my garden, she will be back. Different, stronger, and more beautiful every time. Cheers to August, and to ends and beginnings, seasons and love.

I work with clients who need to buy remotely frequently. The level of stress and anxiety is much higher in these situations. I have been having fun posting house tour videos and have neglected posting my wonderful clients ♥️ So here’s one! A very special thank you to my friends A&E for trusting me with one of their biggest dreams. This beautiful hardworking family has been part of my life for 13 years. We have been talking about this day for almost as long as that. Their beautiful, smart and kind children have been a source of joy for me for the last two months as we navigated a rather complicated home buying process. They were a constant reminder of who I was doing this with, parents who raised exemplary children with such love, empathy, strength, and sacrifice. They never gave up and neither did I, and today I had the immense pleasure of finally handing them keys to their new amazing home ♥️ I will never forget this one. This is why I love this gig.
