Have you ever done a Walking Tour in any of the many Historic Portland Neighborhoods?! It is one of my favorite things to do (obviously) and no one does them better than Eric. He is so passionate about it, he loves our city, our people and our architecture and it’s such a joy to spend a couple hours listening to his stories. Also fun to figure out what “style” we would choose as realtors for these houses we see if we were to list them on the MLS. Eric is not on socials, but DM me and I’ll send you his website!

The days are sunny, and so is this house. There’s a wonderful hidden pocket in SE PDX, behind Reed college, full of mid-century splendor, and I had the honor of stepping inside one this week. Already pending but I had to share!

Ensconced in beloved Nob Hill, right between popular 23rd and 21st Ave., this Italianete Victorian has caught my eye multiple times, and today I had the privilege to walk up those stairs and lose count of how many bay windows. I would never buy a stylish, modern, 4 million dollar home even if I had the money to do it, for many reasons. A) I’m not stylish enough B) I don’t need or want that much space (right?!?) C) I have FIVE pets that would stink it up. D) I’m not that stylish. But if someone said “here’s 4 million dollars but you must spend it on a house”, this would be a solid choice. Get the house and the forest with it. It’s PNW perfection.
