If you are still looking for some last-minute shopping and want something special and unique, take a trip to the Portland Saturday Market. It has been a Portland tradition since 1971 and is located under the Burnside Bridge. Here, you can find one-of-a-kind artisan vendors, delicious food, and live entertainment.

Tonight is the Jamison Square holiday tree lighting ceremony!
Stop by from 5:30pm - 7:00pm to enjoy live performances by The Beat Goes On Marching Band and the Portland Interfaith Gospel Choir. Enjoy hot cocoa and a cookie decorating station while you get into the spirit of the season.

The Christmas Ship Parades are back with runs on both the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. The first parade through Downtown Portland will be on December 9th and will run from John's Landing to the Freemont Bridge. Don't worry if you can't make that one, they will be back December 11th, 18th, 20th, and the 22nd.

After the Thanksgiving dinner is done and the dishes have been put away, head to Pioneer Courthouse Square for the annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday, November 29th. Stay for the celebration and join the sing-along with Portland’s own Thomas Lauderdale from Pink Martini, local musicians and chorale singers!

Oregon Zoo Lights is back for the season. This time of year, the zoo is transformed with thousands of lights, a brand-new magical meadow light show, life-size animal lanterns scattered along the train route, the sparkling light tunnel, and so much more! Did you know if you have a Multnomah, Washington, or Clackamas County library card, you could be enjoying free admission to things like the Portland Art Museum and the Japanese Gardens or attend free performances at the Portland Center Stage at The Armory and the Portland Opera? There are 15 partners you can choose from.
